Reset Detail - the one-time deep clean
A Reset is the full top-to-bottom that brings a neglected or used car back to a clean baseline. Wash, decontaminate, clay bar, polish, interior extraction, leather treatment, glass, the works. Three to four hours on a sedan, longer on bigger vehicles.
Reset pricing at Wild West Details: $249 for a car or coupe, $289 for a small SUV or crossover, $329 for a truck, large SUV, or van. That's the floor. Vehicles that show up dirtier than the booking photos get re-quoted before any work starts, never mid-job.
Who needs a Reset: anyone who hasn't had a proper detail in 6+ months, anyone buying a used car, anyone selling one, anyone whose paint feels rough when you run a clean hand across the hood.
Recovery Detail - for cars in real trouble
Recovery is the level above Reset. Mud-caked work trucks, pet hair through every seam, vomit, decade-old food stains, mold, smoke - vehicles that need more than a deep clean to look civilized again.
Starts at $399. Final price gets quoted on inspection because Recovery work scales with how bad the situation is. We have actually walked away from cars where the work isn't worth it for the customer. Better honest than expensive.
Core membership - keep it clean, not perfect
$129 per month for a car or coupe. Membership requires a one-time Reset first - we can't maintain a finish that hasn't been brought to baseline.
Core gets you a hand wash, vacuum, interior wipedown, glass, and tire dressing on a regular cadence. It's the right level for daily drivers, work commuters, family vehicles. Keeps the car presentable without the cost of correction-level work every month.
Premium membership - correction-grade, kept that way
$159 to $199 per month depending on vehicle size. This is what you want if you have a coated car, a weekend car, or any vehicle where the paint is correction-grade and you want it to stay there.
Includes everything in Core plus extended polish, sealant top-ups, interior conditioning, ceramic top coat refreshes if applicable. The job here is preserving the standard, not just keeping the dust off.
How to pick the right package
If the car hasn't been detailed in a while or you've never had it done: start with a Reset.
If the car has issues a normal wash can't fix - heavy buildup, pet damage, smoke: Recovery.
